There’s been a lot of back a forth between boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and MMA champion Conor McGregor adding to the hype around the highly anticipated fight between the two fighters. And now to further stir things up, Mayweather has just declared that he will come out of retirement to settle the score with the outspoken Conor McGregor.
Mayweather stated “When I faced Arturo Gatti, I went to his turf…He was the A side. I was the B side. I beat him, I didn’t cry, I didn’t complain. When I faced Oscar De La Hoya, he was the A side. I was the B side. I didn’t cry, I didn’t complain, I beat him and I became the A side. For Conor McGregor, I’m coming out of retirement, just to fight Conor McGregor.”
Whether the fight will go ahead or not is still up in the air at this stage but it will surely be an epic fight for the ages. Stay tuned for more news.
